In another life (or even just a couple years ago) I used to be a photographer who was all about setting up the perfect theme in my home studio with cake and props and all the goodies. Honestly, seeing a tot upset about the opportunity to eat cake was always the best (I love a good crying photo), but I really really really loved getting to the bubble bath at the end. Now, I’m not a studio photographer anymore and 90% of my sessions are organic in location, so I looked for a way to combine that organic feel and still have a bath during a First Birthday Celebration.
Say hello to the FRUIT BATH!
Plenty of noms, splashing, and all over adorableness. B
onus – fruit is a fantastic alternative to families who are not sure about their little having cake, frosting, and processed sugar if their bodies aren’t used to it.
Following a baby from birth through this huge milestone is so exciting!
It doesn’t get much better than toes sticking out of the water.
Her stare frankly intimidates me, LOL!
Full disclosure – yesterday my daughter couldn’t stop singing “Fruit Salad” by the Wiggles, and even now I can’t get it out of my head.
“Fruit salad, yummy yummy…”
A million billion hugs and congrats to Shelby and her husband who had me document their family’s
pregnancy announcement when we celebrated Evelyn’s #firstbirthday 😍🤣 #mixedfeelings #ohtoddlers
