"Meg is a phenomenal photographer (and a phenomenal human!). She really knows her stuff, takes care of allllllll the little details, makes sure you feel prepared and excited for your shoot, and makes you GIGGLE while she photographs you."
- Genevieve R.

rockin' your bump

You are probably sitting on the couch, one hand casually draped over your bump (as has become second nature by this point), and there is that "Holy moly!" moment that you want to hold on tight to this stepping stone in your pregnancy journey.

Hey, you're literally making a human, like right this very second. Let's dress you up, meet somewhere fun, celebrate this incredible science inside your body, and I'll take photos that will remind you what a spectacular badass you truly are.

FAQs

When should I let you know that I want a maternity session?

The sooner the better. I limit the number of guess dates I take per month for maternity, birth, and newborns. If you know that I am the photographer for you, it is best to secure your spot as early as possible.

When should I book a maternity session?

There's this sweet little spot in the third trimester between 28-36 weeks, though the best time can be different for everyone. Ideally, you want to be showing off that rockin' bump, but don't want to be too uncomfortable for photos.

Can my partner/family/pets join?

Absolutely!

What should I wear for maternity pictures?

Styling assistance comes with the maternity package, I am happy to guide you (and the rest of your family if they are joining) on what looks best in photos, what might feel comfortable on your pregnant body, where to shop, and some helpful tips about hair + makeup.

What about hair and make-up?

Investing in hair and makeup is suggested but not mandatory! Whether you choose to hire an artist or do yourself, I ask that hair and make-up be ready and done by the time we start the session. At the moment, I do not have a preferred hair and makeup artist. Your hands will more than likely be in a lot of shots, so please come with any chipped nails removed, or manicured hands.

Where does the session take place?

I am here to meet you where you are at, figuratively and literally. You could be snuggling your bump outdoors exploring the incredible beauty that is Oregon or comfortably lounging around on your couch for a snugglefest. I have a Pinterest board with loads of location photos for inspiration.

Do you offer Newborn Sessions or Baby’s First Year plan?

Yes! You can view details on my fresh baby and in-home newborn sessions here and the "Watch Me Grow!" package includes newborn, 6 months, and 1 year sessions.

How does payment work?

There is a 30% deposit due at booking to save your session date in my calendar, and the package balance is due one week before your maternity session.

When will I get to see our pictures from a session?

Your carefully edited images from your session will be presented in a private online gallery approximately 3 weeks after your session date. From there you will be able to download, share with family/friends, and purchase prints and a story book.
